HutchFest 2025 Returns to Columbus with an Exciting Weekend of Music and Community Spirit

Annual Music Festival Celebrates Local Culture, Vital Organizations, and Generous Community Sponsors

Columbus, Indiana — HutchFest, Columbus’ beloved community-driven music festival, returns to downtown Columbus for its third annual year on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26. The two-day event will feature local and regional musical talent, celebrating the vibrant culture of Columbus while supporting three vital organizations: the historic Crump Theatre, Landmark Columbus Foundation, and the Miller House and Garden

Established in honor of Hutch Schumaker, a local leader known for his commitment to community and arts initiatives, HutchFest has grown into an annual tradition, attracting music enthusiasts and community supporters from across the region.


Dynamic Lineup of Performances

This year's festival kicks off Friday evening, April 25, at 5 pm at The Commons (300 Washington Street) with a $10 ticket providing access to exciting performances from local favorites:

The festivities expand throughout downtown venues on Saturday, April 26, featuring regional bands. These performances are at 21+ venues and are presented without a cover charge:

  • 4th Street Bar & Grill: The Jackson Way, known for engaging, versatile performances.

  • The Garage Pub & Grill: Downstairs Mix-up, acclaimed for their vibrant musical blend.

  • The Eagles #741: Fabulous Hickbillys, celebrated for their lively country-rock sound.

  • The Moose Lodge #398: Albino Catfish Band, presenting a unique fusion of Americana and rock.


Community Sponsorship Opportunities

Supporters can play an important role by becoming HutchFest sponsors, with four sponsorship levels available:

  • Duck Dynasty Level – $2,500
    Flying at the highest level with your crew. 6 Tickets, 6 T-Shirts, 6 Insulated Beer Koozies, 6 Pairs of Premium Socks, and recognition as top-tier supporters.

  • Duck Blind Level – $1,000
    Hunker down and party at this perfect level for your favorite hunting squad! 4 Tickets, 4 T-Shirts, 4 Insulated Beer Koozies, 4 Pairs of Premium Socks, and event recognition.

  • Mallard Ducks Level – $250
    Float out on the lake with your partner as you support a great cause! 2 Tickets, 2 T-Shirts, 2 Insulated Beer Koozies, and 2 Pairs of Premium Socks.

  • Decoy Duck Level – $100
    Flying solo and loving it! 1 Ticket, 1 T-Shirt, 1 Insulated Beer Koozie, 1 Pair of Premium Socks.

All sponsorship proceeds benefit The Crump Theatre, Landmark Columbus Foundation, and Miller House and Garden, ensuring continued support of Columbus’ treasured cultural landmarks and community initiatives.


Exclusive HutchFest 2025 Merchandise

Festival attendees can purchase limited-edition HutchFest 2025 merchandise, including t-shirts, posters, hats, insulated koozies, and more. Merchandise will be available exclusively on Friday, April 25, at The Commons. 


Kick-off Promotion Days

Promotion Days leading up to the festival will be held from Tuesday, March 24, to Thursday, March 27. These evenings will provide opportunities for the community to engage with the event in advance from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the following venues:

  • Tuesday, March 24th, at the The Eagles #741

  • Wednesday, March 25, at The Garage Pub & Grill

  • Thursday, March 26, at 4th Street Bar & Grill
