Hadley Fruits
Senior Photographer and Digital Collections Manager
Hadley’s over-15-year documentation of Bartholomew County’s architecture and civic life has shaped the visual record for everything from Exhibit Columbus to dozens of partner organizations. He received a Master of Fine Arts in Photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Indiana University Indianapolis.
Jamie Goldsborough
Creative Director
Jamie leads communications, publications, and storytelling across all of LCF’s programs. Her experience spans graphic design, architectural research, and design criticism. Jamie received a Master of Architecture and Master of Arts in Design Criticism from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design from Indiana University Indianapolis.
Sarah Urist Green
Artistic Director,
Monumental Gestures
Sarah Urist Green leads LCF’s Indianapolis initiative to transform public spaces through ambitious art experiences. She is an Indianapolis-based curator, art educator, and author best known as the creator of The Art Assignment, a PBS Digital Studios web series with more than 35 million views, and the host of Crash Course Art History. She worked for seven years as curator of contemporary art at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and has a national track record of making art and design legible to broad civic audiences.
Beth Hughes
Director of Civic Connections
Beth builds and sustains relationships with civic partners, donors, and institutional collaborators. She brings a multidisciplinary background in public‑sector communications, experience design, and relationship‑driven leadership. Beth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Bellarmine University.
Richard McCoy
Executive Director
Richard has led the organization's work since its founding in 2015. He studied journalism, political science, and Spanish at Indiana University before receiving a Fulbright Scholarship to Spain and a Master of Arts in Art History with a concentration in Conservation-Restoration from the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University. He held positions at museums in Indianapolis and New York before beginning work with Columbus’s redevelopment commission in 2013.
Kate Powers
Project Manager
Kate connects with a variety of community members and organizations to expand the impact of Landmark Columbus Foundation events, initiatives, and projects. Her prior experience includes administrative coordination for the Sundance Institute and events and operations for Heartland Film in Indianapolis, specifically during the Indy Shorts International Film Festival and Heartland International Film Festival. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies from Ball State University.
Glenda Winders
Senior Cultural Researcher
Glenda documents the history and design of Bartholomew County’s architecturally significant school buildings through the Progressive Preservation Talks: Schools Edition series. A Columbus-based author, journalist, and editor, she has written novels including The Nine Assignments, currently being adapted for television, and Sainted in Error, which earned a starred Kirkus Review. She was part of the Copley News Service team that earned a Pulitzer Prize for national reporting in 2006.
